looks like most ppl here are Jewish......

I'm not....Sad

I'm a nursing student from Connecticut, hoping to graduate in 2 or 3 years. I have played World of Warcraft for 2 years and met a Jewish guy in game. He was our guild leader. Around 5 months ago, he went back to Israel and joined the air force there. He told me he always wanted to be a fighting pilot to serve his beloved country. He was born in New York and raised up in L.A.. He is an American citizen. This means it's his own decision wether he wana go to Israel or not.

A lot of ppl said Israel is dangerous, but he insisted. I just received his email 3 days ago. He told me he passed all the tests as well as the qualifications week. 900 ppl only 150 ppl passed. He was one of them!
I'm very pround of him and I'm amazed by his culture and his people.

I'm hoping after i graduate, I will go to Israel and be a nurse there. ( If they welcome foreigner......Shy)

So.....I just started to learn Hebrew.....fortunately, Yale University has a Jewish coummunity offers some Hebrew lessons to public, I hope in 3 years, I can at least communicate with Jewish ppl in Hebrew....
Hello moonxmizx,

Mostly Jews want to study Hebrew some to understand the bible better or even because they plan to visit Israel.

You're welcome to the forum , I suggest you check Hebrew Help forum for some useful tools and links.

I don't belive you'll have any difficulty to find a job as a nurse in Israel. There's a lot of ppl from all over the world who volunteers in Kibbutz. They're not so many anymore since alot of those Kibbutzs has been privatized.

I'm pretty sure you be able to find a job and work there for a while if you wish.

Goodluck with learning Hebrew, feel free to ask any questions you may have...
"I'm not...."  well the biggest minus of israel that religius faces control some parts like marrage
